Over the past 14 years, I have worked in various mental health settings within the NHS and I have provided psychological therapy to adults, older adults, children and families, people with intellectual disabilities, people with early psychosis and individuals at high risk of developing psychosis - all presenting with a wide range of difficulties. Currently, I work part-time as a clinical psychologist in Primary Care Psychology services in the NHS and I work in private practice.

I completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology (University of Manchester) and then attained a Masters degree in Psychology (University of Manchester) before completing the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Training programme (University of Liverpool). Post-qualification, I have also completed the two year Cognitive Analytic Therapy practitioner training (Post-graduate Diploma, University of Sheffield). I am registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC), and I am a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT).

I am highly committed to my continuing professional and personal development. In my practice, I draw on clinically tested therapies (in line with best practice guidelines such as those produced by National Institute of Clinical Excellence and Department of Health) and also the latest cutting edge approaches/ techniques. I also have an interest in research and have published articles in several peer-reviewed journals.

Alongside my comprehensive clinical psychology training, I have invested time, money and energy into my own personal development.

I am a fully qualified Reiki Master / Teacher and have been trained in the traditional Usui system of Reiki. Over the past decade, I have seen many amazing effects of Reiki and it has brought so many benefits to my life.

In addition, I am a fully qualified EFT Level II Practitioner.

I have a specialist interest in energy psychology, meditation and am a fully qualified fitness instructor.
